This picture was taken when we were walking on the Oryukdo Skywalk in Busan, South Korea last autumn in 2014. I actually have a lot of these pictures when I’m walking on top of some glass walkway or platform and take a picture of my feet with the world below me. Beneath my feet during this visit included some large rocks, vegetation, and overlooks the water where the Oryukdo Islands are.
It actually would be interesting for me to compile all the pictures of my feet over different glass observation decks and towers that I’ve been to. I definitely know I have some from the CN Tower and other high buildings. 🙂
(This walkway was very clean and simple. Before we got on to the walkway, we actually had to put shoe covers on. I think it was so as not to scratch the surface of the glass.)

So interesting to hear that you have to put shoe covers on! The glass must be pretty delicate then and a bit of stone stuck under your shoe can give it a permanent scratch in no time 😀 Great view from the top and it looked like a nice sunny day that day 🙂
Thanks Mabel! Yes, apparently the glass is super delicate and that’s why the shoe covers are necessary. It’s a first eh? Yes! It was very sunny that day. 🙂
