Caddle is a free app that you can download on your phone where you can make money from completing 5 cent surveys (takes like 20 seconds), scanning receipts, and writing reviews of products you’ve tried.  I actually use this app primarily for receipt-uploading and the daily 5 cent surveys.  They’re so easy to do!

1)  Scan Receipts

The receipts you upload are from items you purchase from major stores in Canada like Walmart, No Frills, Food Basics, Longo’s, T&T Supermarket, Sobey’s, Staples, and more!  They pay you 5 cents for each receipt.  And for specific retailers like home improvement stores recently, they pay you 10 cents per receipt from Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Rona, etc.!

It’s a fantastic and effortless way to make spare change from things you’re already buying and it only takes a few seconds to scan the receipt.

2)  Daily Surveys

The daily surveys are so fast and easy and don’t drag on (there are like 5 questions).  Sometimes after you answer the first question and you’re not eligible to answer the rest of the questions, it takes you right to the last question and you get the 5 cents!  I know 5 cents isn’t a lot, but it accumulates and it’s a slow game.

Sometimes Caddle gives you random surveys for 25 cents or more too and doing many in a row will add up.

3)  Write Product Reviews 

You get the option to do occasional product reviews too.  You don’t have to write long paragraphs or anything, and it’ll pay you 25 cents or up to $1 or $5 for your honest thoughts (my friend got $5 to write a product review).

4)  Product Cashback

If you buy specific products that are listed on their page, then you can get cash back for it too!  For example, if they have an offer for eye drops for $4, you just have to scan your receipt and then they’ll add $4 to your account.   Or currently, I see they are paying $2.50 for purchase of any two Dempster’s signature bagels.  You can make back money on things you’re already buying (if they’re in the list and for a limited time usually).  They have new offers every Thursday.

Cashing out is super easy and straight-forward.  It’s an Interac e-transfer that they send!  You can cash out when you reach $20.  At this point of time, I’ve cashed out three times from Caddle already.  I’ve made more than $60 and I only started this year in March! ^_^  (So I made $60+ in about eight months time or $20 every three months.)

I definitely recommend this app if you want to make easy money and know you’ll be consistent and diligent in answering daily 5-second surveys and scanning receipts of what you buy.  The app interface is simple to use too.

Caddle is no get-rich-quick app as it does take time to rack up the money to cash out at $20 but in this day and age, anything helps with groceries, paying the bills, or just to get a little something for yourself. 🙂  Using this app, I see no downsides to having it in my daily routine.
