I’m excited to say that for the first time in… months almost a year, I submitted a test after self-grading it! In short, this means that I have a very good chance of passing it. Yay!!! *throws confetti into the air*. I haven’t passed a test since I finished all of my university courses and was about to enter my practicum which was last May! It’s taken me a full year — almost — to really buckle down and practice and get up to speed. Of course, it’s because I’ve had to fulfill my obligations as a Phoenix Theory instructor during this time, but still, this is exciting. Even if my submitted test ends up not being a pass, I can say that I am SUPER super close to passing my 160 wpm literary component. Finally! I can only wait until Monday for my speedbuilding instructor to mark it and confirm my grade. 🙂
However, I shouldn’t celebrate too soon yet. This weekend is still Test Fest — one of the few times in the year where we can take up to 4 speed tests! (I know, only steno students are this excited about taking tests!) I remember when I used to literally scream in happiness and excitement when the Test Fest dates would be announced because I knew then that I would have a chance to show off my steno speediness and accuracy. In the recent Test Fests, not so much because I knew that I hadn’t practiced enough so it would be a miracle if I did indeed pass a test. (I recognize that passing tests truly come from hours of dedicated practice on the steno machine — it’s when I can feel my fingers knowing the words inside out and can stroke them without hesitation.) In any case, I shouldn’t celebrate yet because I still have two more tests to complete this weekend. Good luck to me! 🙂

What’s up mates, how is the whole thing, and what you want to say concerning this paragraph, in my view its in fact remarkable in favor of me.
