My students are so awesome. This is the last weekend before I leave for my trip on Tuesday and the last week where they have to submit their progress reports since I’m leaving. Instead of choosing to be bitter about having to finish the course earlier than anticipated, they all wished me good luck and to have an amazing trip in China. They’re so wonderful. 🙂 With that said, I have 16 dictation and test submissions (so far) to mark this weekend plus all (10) of their progress reports. Although it’s a lot of work, I’m going to miss doing this. There’s something quite relaxing and familiar about grading student work. There’s not too much thinking involved which is nice — by that, I mean complicated problem solving which hurts my brain. All the marking in this course is very straight forward. Onward with the weekend! After Saturday, I’ll have 90 percent of a lot of work done (which includes all of the DiSCOVER presentations) and I can more fully prepare for my trip! Ekk!
🙂
