So for dinner on our last night in Greensboro for the MAIC 2015 Convention, we dined out as a team at a restaurant called The Pavilion. Thank you Jason for helping us book the reservation for our 40+ group and securing the spot even though we were a little late for our reservation (oops).
The Pavilion is a very unassuming restaurant. As we rolled up to the parking lot, I’m sure many of us were doubting the validity of the restaurant from its exterior. In the darkness, it looked like a really plain restaurant in the midst of a warehouse. It wasn’t until we got in that we saw that the restaurant’s interior was actually quite nice! The Pavilion serves Greek and Italian food.
The restaurant closed at 10 p.m. on a Saturday so we didn’t have too much time to chitchat considering we got there after 9 p.m. The unfortunate part about this restaurant is that we weren’t able to really dine together as a group. We had to separate ourselves into tables of four-six since our reserved area didn’t accommodate for a more-than-10-people table. Oh well.
I ordered Lasagna while the others around me ordered Chicken Fettucine, Chic Alfredo Lemonata, and Steak. We all got a starting salad to start that was very fresh and simple — Clarissa felt like we were eating rabbit food. No offence at all to the restaurant; I really enjoyed this simple salad.
The service was quite good that night considering that we were so many of us. Props to them! 🙂
My lasagna was super cheesy and delicious! It was a very home-styled restaurant so the presentation of the dishes is no frills. I liked it. It was simple and the cheese was chewy too. I couldn’t finish it all so I shared it with the people around me.
I tried the chicken and fettucine that Clarissa got and I liked it! The grilled chicken breast was so tender. I also tried a bite of steak that Ronny got and I was so impressed with how soft and tender the meat was. Delicious! 😀

Chic Alfredo Lemonata. $10.50
– boneless and skinless chic breast placed on a bed of penne pasta and topped with onion, parsley, lemon slice, alfredo sauce, and cheese, then baked in the oven
Thanks for having us and our large group, Pavilion! 🙂
