CANO Restaurant is located at 1108A St Clair Ave W in Toronto
This past Wednesday, I had the pleasure of attending another DKLoEvents for a media tasting at CANO Restaurant. This is an Italian restaurant (with Mediterranean influences) that is located in the west-mid-side area of Toronto. Its major intersection is St. Clair Avenue West and Dufferin Street (St. Clair West Subway Station is the Continue reading →
Last night, we had a media tasting thanks to jojoinstameets at the King Street West location of Il Fornello. This location of Il Fornello was actually the very first Il Forenllo that I had visited back in July 2010 (my pre-blogging days) for a dinner before my friends and I attended a musical. Needless to say, this location is also in the Theatre District and Continue reading →
Il Fornello located at 8851 Yonge St in Richmond Hill
As part of my very first #jojoinstameets from Jo and Joanna, it was hosted at Il Fornello where we had a fabulous tasting dinner and learned about their newest menu specials. This is a recap blog post about my experience at the event.
Novita Italian Cuisine located at 25 Cochrane Dr in Markham
After a week of being sick and completing last-minute transcript orders before the holidays, I was finally able to emerge and enjoy food at a brand new restaurant! 😀 I had been wanting to try this restaurant with two friends for a holiday dinner but due to me being sick, I wasn’t able to visit Novita Italian Cuisine until later on the weekend at which time Ken and I had a full day of food adventures before arriving at Novita Italian at 7:30 p.m for dinner. The Old Spaghetti Factory located at 54 The Esplanade in Toronto
The very first time I dined at The Old Spaghetti Factory was several years ago in my university days when we had a small reunion with friends. I remember the good Italian food and the beautiful one-of-a-kind decor that was housed inside this restaurant. According to their website, they were: Continue reading →
Jamie’s Italian Yorkdale located at 3401 Dufferin St #20 in North York
Jamie’s Italian Yorkdale restaurant opened sometime last year in December and I had heard lots about it seeing as it was chef Jamie Oliver’s very first restaurant in Canada and North America. Jamie Oliver opened it in conjunction with the chef, Francesco Venditti, of Bar Buca at Yorkdale Shopping Centre. Needless to say, I was very excited to try this celebrity chef’s restaurant! 😀 Continue reading →
Tino’s Pizza Café is located in Tai Po in Hong Kong. It is a nicely designed modern café and boasts authentic pizza and Italian dishes.
We had dinner here with our relatives and ordered two sets of the two-person meal as well as an add-on. We had a lot of food and we paced eating it since we were arriving for my cousin to arrive after work. Continue reading →
ViBo Restaurant located at 2995 Bloor St W in Toronto
After participating in a restaurant launch party just blocks down the street, some foodie friends and I decided to visit ViBo Restaurant for an actual sit-down dinner. ViBo Restaurant was listed on Yelp as highly rated Italian restaurant that was close by, so the six of us decided to try it without hesitation.
Terroni at Adelaide located at 57 Adelaide Street East in Toronto
I’ve heard so much about Terroni but had never been to any location of theirs before to try a single Italian dish. Thus, I was very grateful to be able to get to try it finally! We went to Terroni at Adelaide on a Friday night — they have two other locations; one at Queen and one at Yonge at Price.
Terroni at Adelaide is located at 57 Adelaide Street East and housed inside the historic York County Court House, which served as the city court from 1852 to 1900. How neat! Continue reading →
itaMoMo located at Shop 102, 1/F, Yu Chui Shopping Centre, 2 Ngau Pei Sha Street, Sha Tin in Hong Kong
itaMoMo (意八餐廳) is a restaurant franchise offering fusion Italian cuisine that spans several locations in Hong Kong. We ate here for dinner before our flight to Korea and arrived just in time to take advantage of their afternoon tea time special (ending 5:45 p.m.). (Their entire tea time menu was in Chinese BUT their regular menu was in English and Chinese.) Continue reading →
