Today’s practice — April 17

I finally got in some solid practice time today.  Yay!  I’ve been craving it since I started teaching Phoenix Theory full-time.  It’s 6:44 p.m. now and I have over 2.5 hours of practice.  I did some Speed Plus (still doing them from the 80 wpm book — 80.703 to be specific), Blackboard testimony practice at 180 wpm, and some youtube videos to keep me entertained.  Woohoo!  It’s not much, but it’s a start.  I’m going to continue practising tonight. =)

Edit:  I practised for another hour afterwards.  3.5 hours in total today!  Yay!  In my practice today, I struggled a bit with the words “posterity” and “prosperity”.  I know how to steno them; it was more an issue with listening and distinguishing one from the other since the difference between the speaker’s pronunciations was so subtle. /PAUS/TAEUR/TAE vs. /PRAUS/PAEUR/TAE, respectively.
