This week’s photo challenge displays the proverbial sign of spring: Flowers blooming and trees budding! Just look at these little buds open up and blossom into leaves. : )
On another note, because we’ve had such a long winter this year, I’ve yet to see these lovely buds on the trees yet. I’ve seen geese wandering on the grass and the days getting longer, but nothing really blooming yet. Have you?

We’re in Chicago, rather than Canada, but things are finally blooming here. I was about 2 1/2 hours south a few days ago and it’s amazing how much further along spring is there.

Ah, thank you for sharing, Janet! It seems like winter has been a long one this year for many of us and it’s just now that spring is rolling in. 🙂
