This week’s photo challenge really reminds me of how we sometimes just have to take random pictures when you’re in the moment because you never know how the picture or memory can come into use. What I’m talking about specifically is how I managed to dig up this photo that I took this year when I went to Miami for the first time with some wonderful people. It was the last night before we all flew back home to Toronto and we were all dining together at the Hard Rock Cafe at the Bayside Marketplace. As we were walking together to the restaurant, I saw this tree in the darkness and decided to take a picture of it. From this picture, the trunk of the tree looks like it’s fraying, but it really wasn’t. It fits this week’s theme nicely. 🙂
It just goes to show you how when you do something at one point in time, you never know how it can be of use in the future. Everything leads to something else and when you look back, the dots connect. If I hadn’t taken this picture back then on a whim, I wouldn’t be talking about it here again today. Everything happens for a reason. : )

Karen, that’s why I have thousands of photos that I just keep. 🙂
