Lots of cakes and pastries in March 2025! 12 surprise bags

If you want to save unsold food from restaurants and stores, there’s an app called Too Good To Go.  It is also the best way to save money on food and to discover new shops you wouldn’t have visited if not for exploring the app!

Here is my monthly roundup of the surprise bags I bought in March 2025.  I bought 12 bags this month!

March 10, 2025:

Never received a container of mango sago before!  So special.  The secondborn devoured the raisin bread and white sugar sponge cake so quickly.

March 13, 2025:

So happy to try this new store on TGTG!  Very cute offerings that were decently tasty and aesthetically pleasing.

Thanks for another great surprise!!  The two mochis were a new item.  So yummy!  Great picks as we enjoy everything here.  My secondborn loves the white sugar sponge cake and raisin bread from the last pickup.

March 17, 2025:

Always solid and reliable.  Fresh and soft too!  We ate them right away after pickup.

My first time finally fast enough to get La Rocca’s surprise cake bag!!!!  Yay!  This heavy and dense 8 inch Carrot Cake was incredible for the value.  So happy with this purchase.

March 19, 2025:

Very nice to be able to try the baked goods from this small Middle Eastern cafe on Yonge Street.  There were no menus displaying the name or price of the items unfortunately.  The rollet was delicious, moist, and so soft!  Shortbread cookies were all right.

March 20, 2025:

An amazing surprise bag!  So happy with the extra bonus hot patty they gave us at the time of pickup too. ^_^

Delicious!!!  And loved the variety.  My second time getting this bag and I’m definitely going to get it again in the future.  Such a great snack.

Once again very yummy treats from Kiss Cake.  Glad the value is correct.

This was delicious!!!  Despite receiving one less slice of cake than three years ago when buying the same surprise bag, their quality of cakes has not diminished.  I loved the Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse so much that I think I have found the next cake that I want for my birthday this year! 😄

March 29, 2025:

A magnificent surprise!  We all loved the fresh and unique Green Grapes Yogurt Cream cake.  The cake itself was so soft and custard-like while the cream was refreshing and tasted like yogurt.  The cake box was as good as the last time we got it in January. 😋

March 30:

Very delicious, slightly spicy, smooth, and tender noodles.  Very disappointing that the advertised value was not met by such a large amount.
