Thought this was cheap but then the store reduced the price to $1.94 the very next day! An even better deal.

Love the variety but one lime and some of the sweet potatoes were moldy. The peppers were really wrinkly and soft too.

I couldn’t resist buying these chicken thighs even though our fridges and freezers are already stuffed full lol. Too good of a deal and I wanted to “save” it from becoming landfill.

Good number of bananas. We try not to get as many as we used to because we had an infestation of fruit flies.

These raspberries were so big!

The Sweet Sesame Heat salad was actually pretty good; not spicy despite the name.

Good quality pears. I think this was my first time getting Asian pears from Loblaws.

My guilty pleasure. I couldn’t help but to buy 2 packs since it was so steeply discounted too. They didn’t taste as salty as I expected them to.
Hashim’s No Frills (681 Silver Star Blvd, Scarborough, ON):
- Fruit Box (3 cantaloupes, 5 dragon fruits, 10 mangos, 2 apples, 2 limes, 1 peach) $6. Paid $6.34.
One cantaloupe was completely moldy inside… the dragon fruits were the red fruit ones and good. Mangoes were great too. My kids haven’t had mangoes in a while.
I didn’t have time to photograph them on my kitchen table as I usually do, so these were just taken from the large box they came in. 🙂

This was an incredible and insane purchase. Eighteen items for just $29?! I love, love, love that this location of No Frills is now posting such steeply discounted items on Flashfood. Look at the 25 cent sliced ham and udon noodles! And the $1 Greek yogurts again and the $2 bocconcini cheese and $3 cheese sausages! So fantastic. I got each item for essentially just $1.61! :O
The kids enjoyed the udon noodles and I love the bocconcini cheese and cheese sausages ^_^.

- Mixed Produce Box $5 (1 pack of romaine lettuce hearts, 1 pack of Indian okra, 1 head of lettuce, lots of okra, lots of peppers, 4 tomatoes, 7 mandarins, 2 limes, 2 apples). Paid $5.28.
So happy to see this location of No Frills have produce boxes and produce for the first time and so we tried it out. Unfortunately, the box I chose to bought was not what they gave me and I didn’t know (because the husband picked it up for me) until we brought it to the car. Sigh. Oh, well. The green peppers were very bruised and had black spots on it. The other items were fine.
