Last month when I was vacationing in Hokkaido, Japan, one of the destinations on our itinerary was visiting the Snow Museum located in Asahikawa, Hokkaido Prefecture. Inside of this museum there was a long winding staircase that led to a wishing fountain, a hallway full of glassed in icicles reminiscent of a winder wonderland, a cathedral fit for weddings, many magnificent dining rooms, and a gift shop, among many other things. The entire space was very magical-like and reminded me of the setting in the movie Frozen. One of the things I saw in the gift shop was this pretty little (Christmas) tree decorated with crystals. It was glimmering and so delicate that it seemed to give off a magical feeling. To some people who have never seen snow or a frozen wonderland before, the sight can definitely be a magical one. Thus, here is this week’s photo challenge! 🙂
