Sometimes it’s nice to just sit at your computer and surf while munching on snacks. Not everyone needs to party or socialize with every member of your circle of friends every day, right? This weekend, I’m going to put in some steno time, organize some blog posts, and just rest. I’ve had enough travelling this month. Just feeling happy to stay put for a while. 🙂
— Actually, the only “snack” I’m munching on right now is my daily vitamin since I just had breakfast. The day is young though. Plenty of time to get in those yummerzzz.
Edit: I snacked on an Onigirin or a Japanese rice ball and some leftover birthday cake from the fridge. Strawberry Napoleon cake! Those Japanese rice balls are SO delicious! The first time I had them was when I was in Korea in 2011. Got one from the supermarket and ate it at the airport before I boarded. It was SO good. I bought one the other day at the local Chinese supermarket here. Tastes horrible. Hard and flavourless. Oh, well. On the other hand, that birthday cake (which was bought from the same supermarket interestingly) was delicious. Crunchy and soft with nuts inside. Usually I hate nuts, but this fits the soft cream and strawberries perfectly. 😀

Dug this picture up from when I went to Korea in December 2011. It was incredibly delicious! Didn’t take a picture of the actual rice ball I had this afternoon cuz it was too crappy tasting. Maybe I will later though since there’s another one in the fridge.. (Buy 2 for $2.99! )
….anddddd this turned into a food posting. Who would have thought lol.

I love quiet weekends too, Karen! :o) By the way, that cake looks delicious. 😀
Thanks, Joyce! You know what cake is also delicious? That cake you made for Holly and me that year we celebrated 1-3-5! It was SO delicious. Like I said, it was probably one of the top desserts I’ve EVER had! Wish I took a picture of it! 🙂
