I’m such a nerd.  I just finished working 12 hours and I’m home and I’m excited to start up my Case Case software and my answer keys and my Excel spreadsheet and my doodle paper in hand to start marking the rest of my students’ dictations!!!  I have 38 to mark.  Let’s see how many I can get in before I sleep tonight.  Time is now 10:44 p.m.  Ready?  GO!

• 10:48 p.m. — Oh, make that 39.  My students are just as nerdy as I am. 🙂
• 11:07 p.m. — Marked 7.  Just got another one.  This means 40 in total.  Ye ye
• 11:46 p.m. — I don’t know why I’m doing this live blog on me marking, but I have 21 dictations left which means I have marked 19 so far.  I’m getting tired…
• 12:23 a.m. — All done (for today).  Marked 25.  I’m pooped.  Good night.
• 12 :49 a.m. — +1.  Wow, really sleeping now…

Edit:  Besides slaving over the dictations, I also had a midnight snack!  I got these from Taiwan; they’re mini pineapple cakes!  Really well known from there.

I love how you can just fold open the tiny box and the cake is right there! This means no preservatives were used to pack it!
