On Saturday, April 27, the Mon Sheong/DiSCOVER group led us to tree planting! This was part of a city-wide initiative to plant trees and there were so many volunteers there. I was quite pleasantly surprised!
I’ve always wanted to plant trees! The first time I wanted to plant trues was back in high school when I saw a poster in the hallways promoting a tree-planting day. Unfortunately, back then, as much as I wanted to go, there was no friend to accompany me, and I was too shy to go alone to the event. Back in high school, I usually went to events with friends or not at all. So not the case now! I also remember that the day the event happened, it was raining which made it harder to actually go if I really really wanted to.
Here are some pictures that I took. I think the process is pretty self-explanatory. 🙂
So, I’m grateful for this chance to have planted a tree. I hope I get to plant more trees in the future. It’ll be nicer for the earth to look more green.

I love the last photo! Fun times!
