Second day of court reporting

I did my second day as a court reporter today :D.  The cross-examination didn’t start until the afternoon and it was at the all-too-familiar agency which I’ve job shadowed at many times so I knew exactly what to expect and where to go.  I even slept soundly last night; barely any nervous energy at all ;).  There were only 3 people in the room today and it was a swift, straight-to-the-point, and exhibit-free job today.  By swift, I really mean that as the parties were all there early and I heard the words “and those are all my questions” 30 minutes in.  What a fast job!  No problem though for me!  It really, really excited me to know what both parties also wanted to order the transcript and that one party wanted it expedited too!!!  AHHH!  So exciting!  My first expedited transcript on my second day of work.  I’m really thanking the stars above for this.  I am so grateful. 🙂
