The 12 surprise bags from Too Good To Go in December 2025

My most-favourite fun app for saving food from waste is called Too Good To Go.  Buy surprise bags full of food that restaurants and stores haven’t sold or made too much of for one third of the retail price!  It’s the best way to try new restaurants and food that you might not otherwise buy. 

(Where there is a clear price tag of the goods, surprise bags that meet or are above the minimum value are marked with a green checkmark and surprise bags that do not meet the minimum value are marked with a red X.  E.g. If a surprise bag costs $7.99, the minimum value of goods received should be $24 worth.)

Here is my monthly roundup of the surprise bags I bought in December 2025.  I bought 12 surprise bags this month!

December 15, 2025:

New bakery that replaced Cros Croissanterie (which I unfortunately never got to try)!  Nice to try their pastries.  They were all quite good.  The canele had a crusty exterior shell.

First time getting Bento Sushi from a Longo’s!  They’ve had it for a while now so it was really nice to finally buy a bag to try.  Decent sushi that’s supermarket-quality.  Good for a sushi craving.

I am SO thrilled that a Healthy Planet is now newly opened near me!  It’s so close to me and I also am so happy that they have a kitchen that sells prepared foods too!  What a great bag!  The vegan parfait was really unique in that it had crunchy bits with tumeric and ginger in it.  The salad was chock full of ingredients like walnuts, apples, green beans too.  The roast chicken was really good as well.  I already know we will be buying this bag again as well as trying their other categories.

December 16, 2025:

Lo and behold, I was already back the next day for another Healthy Planet bag haha.  Their organic produce bag is quite good with lots of varied items!  Not sure if it was a coincidence but organic broccoli tastes better than regular ones!

I got their prepared foods bag again.  This time, the content was so different in that we got some baked goods which I didn’t expect.  The muffin and loaf were a bit on the dry side.

I decided to get a bag since I was placing an order for their egg tarts for an upcoming gathering.  The can of coke really surprised me and made me laugh.  We’ve gotten bags from this bakery many times before and it was the first time we got a canned drink.

December 23, 2025:

I really wanted to try their dairy bag because I wanted milk and yogurt.  Well, we indeed got lots of milk!  I was really happy with the variety of milks.

A really great organic produce bag!  I loved the greens and mushrooms especially.

Too funny… since we were picking up two other category bags already, I decided to get their mixed surprise bag to try too.  Well, now we have too much milk!  Lol.  The vegan double chocolate cookie was tasty and tasted like a regular chocolate  cookie.

December 25, 2025:

This is a fancy artisan bakery.  It was really nice to try their items.  They’re high quality.

Bought this bag again because I wanted a small cake to celebrate the baby’s monthly milestone!  Our first time trying corn cake and it was unique!  The canele this time seemed to be an earl grey flavour.

This was a disappointing bag.  So scant!  (This store has such hit and misses for their produce bags.)
