Uh oh, what happened to my daily updates of my September detox?!? Here it is! 😀 As I’ve mentioned before, this second time of doing a detox has been more lax and carefree than the first time when I did it in March.
I’m so glad that I’m doing this with a group of friends who are supportive and eager to persevere through the challenges. I’m so proud of Katy, who despite coming with us to City Hollywood Cafe after coring to hang out, not only didn’t order a salad but only ordered a Borscht soup which is made with lots of vegetables like carrots, onions, tomatoes, beets, cabbage, and potatoes. Christian and I caved a little bit and ordered a salad, but it was a Waldorf chicken salad. Unfortunately, I didn’t know that it was going to be slathered in heavy drssing. Just look at this picture! This is ridiculous! Needless to say, even though my intentions were pure — veggies with chicken, it turned out to be a rather heavy and non-detox meal.
For this detox, it’s not over yet but I notice that I’m already losing weight. My new jeans that fit me snugly only a couple of days ago are now a little loose in the back. The detox this time around is certainly different and I’m having a lot more fun with it. One day and a half to go! I’m so proud of everyone so far and I know that if we continue, we can achieve our goal. 🙂

oh wow you really ARE going all out detox, very light meal! last night I only had a bottle of protein shake and ate around lunch hour the next day after my gym workout, worked surprisingly well cause i didn’t even feel hungry :O
Hehe, the only thing is that you didn’t see what I actually ate other than this salad. Like I said, I’m taking it very lax this time around. 😛
lol gotta treat yourself every so often eh 😉
Heh 😉 maybe a little too often :3
ah hah!! 😛
