Jia Men, China. March 2013

This week’s theme of “fresh” at first made me want to choose picture of flowers that I’ve taken over the years.  However, that was a little boring, even to myself — no offense to those who choose to put up flowers for this week’s theme.  Instead, I came across this photo of fresh jackfruit that was being cut up and being sold at a market while I was in Jia Men, China one year.  

This was one of the freshest fruits I’ve come across eating since they were opened up right in front of our eyes and placed into boxes to be sold.  Fresh! 🙂
