A part of the Chinese heritage includes these thousands of terracotta warriors that were made in the Qin dynasty as part of funerary art for the first Emperor of China to protect him in his afterlife.

Today was the perfect last day to my trip to Beijing this time around in 2015.  Day 5 :).

Originally, the tour itinerary didn’t have many things planned for the day, but like most things in life, they are better enjoyed when taken into your own hands ;).

Day 3 of being a Beijing tourist!  Half of the trip is already done now.  Today, we visited two salesy places and balanced out with three actual tourist spots. 🙂

Wheeee!!!  So exciting!!  I’m in Beijing again 😀 :D.  Last time I was in Beijing was two years ago in the summer as part of the awesome DiSCOVER 2013 Program that was subsidized by the Mon Sheong group.  We travelled as a group of 20 young individuals for two weeks to China and visited four cities (read the whole day-by-by blog posts here).   Continue reading
