This is a Flashback Friday picture and also one that fits in doubly as this week’s Photo Challenge. This week’s challenge was fun because I didn’t have to think too much but only scroll through my albums to watch for flashes of yellow. No deep thinking involved. Thank you, Daily Post team!
This picture was taken earlier this year at the UVSA Formal in May where we were all dressed up fancy and were taking photographs with fun props. It just so happened that we were all holding yellow props here. I don’t remember if it was intentional or not anymore, but the message is clear — We’re yellow!!! And those of you who don’t mind a racial joke, we are literally YELLOW. (We’re Asian). 😉
As I learned when teaching in a predominantly black high school, it’s only racial if it comes from a different race. You have to have a sense of humor, I think. Cute photo and just right for the challenge.

Ah, I’m glad you clarify that, Janet. 🙂 I just wanted any readers who stumbled upon my words not to be offended if they chose to take offense. And thanks! 🙂
Very fun photo!
Thank you! 🙂
