It’s funny because the English translation of this Chinese café’s name is “steamed egg man” (金裝燉奶佬餐廳) which implies that this restaurant sells steamed egg puddings as their specialty. However, it turns out that Daniel’s Restaurant is just a regular Hong Kong style café. They don’t even sell any steamed egg at all! Continue reading

One of the highlights of my trip to Hokkaido this past first week of October has been the onsen from the hot springs in Japan. On the second day of Hong Kong in 2016, we went to 合益泰小食 (Hop Yik Tai) in Shum Shui Po on 121 Kweilin Street to have lunch. Apparently this place boasts the best cheung fun (rice noodles) in Hong Kong. I was excited to try it out. 😀 Continue reading
