Contrasts: The difference between a light and dark place, the difference between a peaceful and noisy place = the Bird’s Nest in Beijing, China currently. After the 2008 Summer Olympics were full of activity, noise, and cause for celebration, it now sits as an empty and lonely shell for curious tourists to visit. What once was full of bright opportunity and light is now just a space for random Segway tours and multiple pointless pictures.
They should really do something with this space now that the Games are over.

I am envious! when I wanted to go to China I couldn’t, something about political issues at the time but my cousins are there so made I’ll make it some day 🙂
