I originally wasn’t planning to blog about this restaurant since we didn’t really dine in at The Pottery Restaurant, but their take-out service was so exceptional that I really wanted to highlight them. An hour before we were to depart from Blue Mountain after our wonderful weekend away playing survival team games and treetop trekking, we gathered at the Blue Mountain inn to wait for our lovely coach bus to take us back to Markham.
It was genius of Alice to take us to the upstairs restaurant to order some food before our road trip home since it was dinnertime and the bus trip took 2 hours. We quickly told the hostess at the counter that we were in a hurry and only had 10 minutes before our bus arrived. She was so accommodating and understanding and took our orders immediately. Our orders were packed up into nice paper boxes in big brown paper shopping bags. It looked so fancy! We were able to enjoy our food on the bus easily since she also provided us with lots of napkins, plastic cutlery, and portable salt and ketchup packets. She was amazing! We were so thankful that it worked out perfectly in time. 🙂

Chicken & Smoked Bacon Caesar Wrap. $11
-chicken breast, smoked bacon, lettuce, mozzarella & cheddar cheese, house-made Caesar dressing
I ordered the Chicken & Smoked Bacon Caesar Wrap and shared it with Corie. The host even separated our wrap in two boxes since she knew we were going to share. What great service! Despite the order being split into two boxes, they didn’t cheap out on the fries. Look at the box! So many fries!
Surprisingly, the chicken & smoked bacon Caesar wrap was delicious! The chicken breast was perfectly cooked; I loved the slivers of bacon that were in there; the Caesar salad was abundant and fresh inside the wrap; and the wrap itself was amazingly soft. The wrap was just perfectly made. I was so impressed. 😀
Mandy ordered the beef dip which she enjoyed with the fries too. Yum!
If take-out from The Pottery Restaurant tasted this great on a whim, imagine how great their food must be if you were to dine in! Thumbs up, Pottery Restaurant! 😀

ohhhh beef dip! I love that dish so much 🙂
Hehe, I’ve actually only tried this once before! Need to try it more to really enjoy it. 🙂
Hope you get the chance 🙂
