I think the reason why I like doing these WPCs so much is that not only do I get to choose a nice photo from my archives and show it off (I’m a show-off :D), but I also get to pontificate about whatever’s on my mind at the moment. Writing is such a catharsis! For this week’s theme, I chose this photo to show “shadowed”.
Diving through my digital folders this week, I saw a lot of pictures of stuff that I did in 2013. Recently, with the ending of 2014, I did my yearly “year in review” post and appreciated how many new experiences and opportunities that I got. Well, it turns out in 2013, I did a lot of things too! Like horseback riding, Colours of Hope, looking at cherry blossoms, and this — chocolate workshop!! Dun dun dun! (This was done pre-blogging days, so no post about it.)
Tracy and I asked someone to take this picture of us at the end of our chocolate workshop and in the early February winter afternoon, the sun was just hiding behind us a bit and produced this picture where both of our faces are shadowed. I think it’s a nice picture. Not everything has to be shown in full view for it to be beautiful. Actually, the best things in life are probably a little mysterious and not fully seen. *does that weird hand mystery motion*. That makes me think — maybe there will be a WPC theme of “mystery” in the future… if it’s not already been done. : )
I’d love to go to a chocolate workshop!
It was cool! I wanted it to be more elaborate though 🙂
