Breakfast at Ikea Restaurant!

Located at 15 Provost Drive in Toronto

It’s funny that I’ve been to Ikea many times and have tried their frozen yogurt and cinnamon rolls and delicious salmon and broccoli cakes but have yet to take advantage of their $1 breakfasts.  Juliana, Marwan, and I had breakfast here on a Sunday morning.

Juliana told me that upon the clock striking 9:30 a.m., a huge line-up of people outside Ikea rushed in.  Lol…  There were definitely plenty of people there lining up for breakfast.

Lots of people but the lines went by very quickly

$1 Ikea Breakfast

I got the $1 breakfast combo that comes with two sausages, scrambled eggs, and fries.  I also picked up a plate of smoked salmon on a bed of greens.

The $1 breakfast actually wasn’t as amazing as I expected it to be.  The fries were a little cold and mushy, the scrambled eggs were bland and didn’t taste like real eggs.  The sausages were decent though.

Smoked Salmon. $5.99

The plate of smoked salmon was kept in the refrigerator section with Saran wrap covering it. It was also mediocre and a little pricey for $5.99. I justified ordering it too since the breakfast combo was so cheap.

The next time I come to Ikea Restaurant, I’ll stick with their Swedish meatballs and $1 froyo. 🙂
