Sweetery Toronto Food Festival this weekend, Aug 15 & 16!

Toronto events 🙂

I received an e-mail about Sweetery Toronto Food Festival last month and found out for the first time that there will be a dessert and charity-focused food festival happening on August 15, 2015! 😀

Sweetery Toronto is a not-for-profit organization that will be hosting a sweets food festival in collaboration with George Brown College Chef School and to raise funds for SickKids Foundation in the heart of Toronto for two days this summer on Saturday August 15th and Sunday August 16th.

Toronto has many successful food festivals, but none that are dedicated solely to all things confectionery.  Their mandate is to create a local event that will promote and showcase the whimsical world of confectionery and culinary arts in the Greater Toronto Area.  They are working with chefs, artists, food enthusiasts, critics and students to create an engaging experience that is both unique and affordable.

I’m excited to see what they’re all about! 😀  Will you be joining me and my friends this Saturday to taste some sweet desserts and have fun?  Their Facebook event is here.
