Recently, someone asked me if I would return to the teaching field and resume educating those in the upcoming generations. I’m not sure because the future is unknown and we can never say for certain about some things but I also hold several reasons of why I prefer not to work in that field anymore; nevertheless, this week’s photo challenge talks about the alphabet. I searched up this photo that I took of some students practicing their alphabets on paper when I was visiting a demonstration classroom for observation at an elementary school in Toronto. It reminds me of the simplicity of what life in school is like, especially when you are just starting off with the basics.
In life, everything is about practice and doing something until we are familiar with it and then moving forward. These children are on the right path to learn all that they can in school so that in the future, they can do whatever their hearts desire. It all starts with the ABCs and practicing the alphabet. Since it’s a new year, it’s a good time to practise the basics again and learn anew. After all, we are always and forever students at heart and always learning more.
