This was my second time to Dave & Buster’s but my first time eating there. This post is primarily going to be about the singular dish that we ordered from there. Before we sat down for a dish though, we played various arcade games and watched others play as well. It was fun to say the least. 😀
By 6 p.m., we were feeling hungry and sat down at the bar to order some food and rest. (At the gaming/playing area of Dave & Busters’s, the seats are first-come-first serve, so you can just grab a seat anywhere and then order drinks and/or food from the servers.) Since there were no open booth tables (we wanted a booth table), we sat at the bar and ordered drinks and an appetizer to share.
Ken picked a really good one, the Lotsa Loaded Tots. These were crispy potato tots loaded with hot queso, crispy bacon and green onions, and served with Sriracha ketchup. I was not expecting the food at Dave & Buster’s to be so delicious and great. These crispy potato tots were indeed fried perfectly to a crisp on the exterior but yet on the inside, it contained texture similar to a hash brown. The hot queso (cheese sauce) perfect PERFECT. We are both cheese sauce fans and this was so finger-licking delicious. The crispy bacon bits and green onions were the perfect combination to this crispy appetizer. The slightly spicy Sriracha ketchup kicked this appetizer up another notch too. I was just blown away with how amazing this appetizer was!
While we were enjoying this appetizer at the bar, we had a good time watching the bartenders making various drinks and washing up and cleaning the bar area too. They had this fancy cup washer that operated like a mini car wash for the cups. We were fascinated by it and I learned something new that day. The cup-washing assembly line was so incredibly efficient and cool! 😀
After we were done eating, we returned to play more games. 😀
This short but fulfilling dining experience at Dave & Buster’s proved to me that they serve really good food here! I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here in the future for more tasty and shareable bites. 😀
