Weekly Photo Challenge: Heritage

Terracotta Army

Terracotta Army, Xi’an, China. July 2013

A part of the Chinese heritage includes these thousands of terracotta warriors that were made in the Qin dynasty as part of funerary art for the first Emperor of China to protect him in his afterlife.

I can’t ever forget the experience of getting to visit this in Xi’an, China when I was there four years ago.  Such a wonderful part of the Chinese heritage and history!
