The Carnival Glory and the Ruby Princess parked right beside each other at the port; looks like two monuments to me!
April 2014
Upon disembarking from the cruise to an excursion in Mexico on my Caribbean cruise this past week (that’s why there’s been no new posts for the past couple of days — sorry, guys, I know that some of you had been checking back for new ones, but I’m back now!) and heading back to our Ruby Princess cruise ship, I saw this view!
It looks like two huge condos or buildings next to each other. That’s why I’ve chosen this photo for this week’s photo challenge of monument. It really does look like two tall skyscrapers to me.
Have you been on a cruise before? What was your experience like? This was my first cruise and I absolutely loved it! My blog posts to follow in the upcoming days/weeks that outline my fabulous cruise adventure. ^_^
Lucky you! Sounds like you had a fantastic time… those ships are huge! 🙂
Thank you so much! Yes, it was truly an amazing trip! I would definitely go on a cruise again in the future. 🙂
Yes, they are!! The Ruby Princess can hold up to 3,000 people. It’s like a massive apartment complex on the sea! Lol
It always amazes me how they float! 🙂 I’d quite like to go on a cruise someday!
I agree! These cruise ships weigh a ton. How does it all work to keep it floating and working? Lol
Baffles me! I guess ours is not to reason why but to just enjoy! 😀
Haha, yes, so true! As long as we’re safe and secure, that’s all that matters! 🙂
Amazing
Thank you! 🙂
Hope you had fun! I’m going on a Caribbean cruise in July!
I did have tons of fun! I absolutely loved the food and how you could order as much as you wanted to of each course! (I’m a big foodie) 🙂
Where in the Caribbean are you travelling to? 🙂
We are going on a 9 day cruise to Bermuda, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten and Haiti. 🙂 This will be our second cruise on Royal Caribbean. The first was to the Bahamas which was a lot of fun! Yes, it’s nice to have food whenever you want!
Wow, enjoy!! It sounds like a blast already! Take lots of pictures! 🙂
