This is not the best photo or representation of these cute little food figurines, but these are pieces of art work that are always tiny and miniature sized! You may have seen them before in souvenir shops or art & craft stores but I always admire how creative and detailed these little pieces of works are. They are tiny versions of the food that we eat! Super cute. 🙂 These ones are miniature bowls of ramen, chirashi, and uni!
I took this photo in the gift shop when visiting Okhotsk Ryu-hyo Museum in Hokkaido, Japan last month!
There have been so many other examples of these that I have seen in the past while travelling (I see these more so in Asia than anywhere else), but I can’t recall when it was when I took better ones, so this photo will do for now. 🙂
Food figurines are fun 🙂 they are so realistic and some places even have enough to fill up a whole room whew
Yes!! You know what I am talking about haha. If you have such a photo, share! I would love to see it :).
I’ll look some up! 🙂 on my last trip I ran out of space on my phone way too fast, so it’s all over the place lol
Looking forward to seeing some! 🙂
