Spring Rolls is a Pan-Asian restaurant that has many locations all over the Greater Toronto Area. I have dined at previous Spring Rolls locations before including this one at Dundas Street across from the Eaton Centre. (But this is my first blog post about it!) 😉
A group of about 20 of us met up here at 11 a.m. (we were the first to arrive) for a brunch get-together. This was part of the Toronto Trillium Lions Club’s annual toy and clothing drive and dining here together before we set off on our donations was a good idea.
Serving Pan-Asian cuisine, Spring Rolls has everything from Thai to Malaysian to Japanese to Chinese food. I had had their Pad Thai before; a lot of people ordered this but was feeling for some sushi on this day so I ordered the Sushi and Sashimi Combo for 1.
Service was exemplary as the male server made sure that our tea and water glasses were full and that we had everything we needed. The food arrived promptly and was delicious!

Sushi and Sashimi Combo for 1. $14.99
– salmon avocado hand roll (1 pc), salmon sashimi (3 pcs), tuna sashimi (2 pcs), white tuna sushi (2 pcs), salmon sushi (2 pcs), unagi sushi (2 pcs)
The Sushi and Sashimi Combo for 1 that I got was a perfect portion for me. The sashimi and sushi were fresh and I was impressed since Spring Rolls isn’t well known for their Japanese food. Nevertheless, this was a great meal and I’m glad that we got to get together for such a great cause! 🙂
If and when I return to Spring Rolls in the future and order other dishes, I’ll try to append them to this blog post!
