One: One of the thousands of trees that are covered in complete ice from this weekend’s ice storm in Toronto. An amazing sight of what nature can do, but also amazing how it caused complete destruction and damage and power outages across the city to over 250,000 people, myself included. I was left in the dark for over 23 hours in my city. Fallen trees and iced-over roads are all that everyone has been talking about for the last day and a half. I have never been so thankful to be able to flick that light switch on and see my room light up. This is said to be one of the worst winter ice storms that Toronto has ever had. Quite the history maker!
My thoughts goes out to those that are still left without power on this cold night projected with some more freezing drizzle ahead. Stay safe, everyone!
Beautiful photo! 🙂
Thank you, Violet! It’s beautiful out there especially when the sun is setting and the sunlight shines through all the crystals on the branches. 🙂
