Hello Day 2 of my very first detox!!
Last night, without any carbs or protein in my body and only fruits and veggies and water, I started getting a headache and feeling a little light-headed. It’s actually a normal detox reaction and was due to the lack of blood sugar in my system (the headache should clear up by the second or third day). I was still able to function and drive a car and socialize, but I definitely felt a difference in my body.
Surprisingly, I didn’t feel very hungry at all! You know how sometimes when it’s time to eat but you have no food and your stomach starts cramping or howling out loud because it’s hungry? I didn’t experience that at all. Yayyyy! Lol.
Today marks the second day of no protein, dairy, oil, carbs and I’m doing okay! At the time of writing, it’s 6:30 p.m. and I don’t feel a headache at all. I’m very surprised with how okay I’m feeling today actually. I barely even feel hungry… They say the first day is hard to get used to but that the second and third day are pretty bad too. Let’s see how I feel tonight and tomorrow!
