Beautiful Las Vegas. June 13-16, 2014
As most of you can tell from my recent posts, I went to Las Vegas last month! It was half business and half pleasure and I got to see so much and learn from some inspiring people in the process. I’d never been to Las Vegas before and wasn’t sure what to expect. Having been there now, I can say that it’s truly a foodie heaven with so much to do. I loved it! I can also say that Las Vegas is now one of my favourite cities to visit. I can’t wait to come back again next year! 🙂
I’ll share some of the pictures I took so that you can see visually what we were up to. Pictures speak a thousand words but I’ll still supplement with descriptions of what was happening for each one. 🙂
We were a big group travelling there; around 20 people I would say? I flew in a group of around 8 and stopped in Houston briefly for a layover before continuing to LV
Yay! We arrived! The first thing that made me laugh was that there were slot machines inside the actual airport. Outside the airport, it was hot, hot, hot!
For our duration in LV, we stayed at the Paris hotel. It was gorgeous!
After some food, we immediately went to go for some sightseeing. There are a lot of characters to take pictures with. Minions!
So awesome. It felt unreal to be in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Look who we bumped into while browsing the malls! Eric made sure to get a picture with non-smiley Miley Cyrus while her two bodyguards watched on
That night after a meal at BurGR, we watched a Cirque du Soleil show, Zarkana. The acrobatics were so good!
After the show, we checked out the air train (is that what you call it?), the beautiful Bellagio lobbies and hotel, and this view!
This is the real reason why we all flew to LV: to partake in the Chinese Boot Camp to learn from millionaires and experts in the business about how to build a stronger team, leadership, personal improvement, and more… but you wouldn’t know it because all my posts were about all the fun I had. 😛
At night, we ventured out to explore more of the night life on the Vegas strip. It was so beautiful and the perfect summer weather. I loved the dry heat!
The last day in Vegas was spent hotel-hopping, sightseeing, store-hopping, and of course, eating! It was a gorgeous summer day.
The Forum Shops, Caesar Palace
Exploring the outer area of Vegas, Excalibur, and spending a lot of time laughing in that Stupidiotic shop
Last but not least, seeing the Bellagio water fountain play right in front of our eyes (and getting splashed with the water) to Michael Jackson’s music!
As always, I’m so thankful that I had the chance to travel to Las Vegas for this opportunity to learn and have fun. It’s not every day that you get to travel with a big group of enthusiastic and fun-loving individuals! Memories last a lifetime and I’m certainly going to continue capturing more precious moments and chances to learn as the days go on. There’s nothing better than self-improvement and stepping outside of your comfort zone. =)
