Las Vegas Eats 2015: Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill

Located at 3570 Las Vegas Blvd S in Las Vegas

How very thankful I am and blessed to be able to travel to Las Vegas for the second year in a row and dine at great restaurants? 🙂  After Juliana and I arrived in LAS, we took the airport shuttle to Baileys hotel where we dropped off our luggage.  It was a beautiful but very hot summer afternoon as we dashed from Baileys over to Caesars Palace to find a bite to eat for lunch.  It was a blazing hot 40 degrees with the dry desert heat shining down on us.  It was quite the trek as we dashed through the street and up and down the outdoor escalators and into the air-conditioned Caesars Palace.  Memories of last year‘s trip flooded my brain as we tried to quickly look for a good lunch place to satisfy our stomachs.

One of the three Gordon Ramsay restaurants in Las Vegas

Happy Hour Food! 😀

This was our first afternoon here in Vegas of our 3-day trip.  As luck would have had it, we passed by Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill restaurant where they were having Happy Hour!  Yes!  Even though it looked like there was a line-up at first, it only took 2 minutes for the hostess to sort out the people in the line and we got a table in the next minute.

It was awesome!  Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill is decorated so nicely inside with gigantic metal drums in different colours stuck to the wall.  It was a very British pub inspired restaurant as well with the colours of the British flag represented in the furniture and decor.  Their huge chairs were also so comfortable!  It felt like we were in the dining room of someone’s house with all of the British backdrop and telephone booths around us. 🙂

Look at those cans!

The restaurant seats 290 guests!

Juliana and I were hungry and I was so excited to be at another Gordon Ramsay restaurant (last year, I tried out BurGR)!  I really was so excited. 😀  It turns out that Happy Hour is an amazing deal because you get to order any dish for $5 or $7!  Wow!  What a steal!  I didn’t know that we would get to enjoy such cheap delicious eats in Vegas on the first day.  I felt very blessed.  Also, I was even more excited because we ended up getting a lot of time to enjoy Vegas.  Some of our other counterparts ended up being stuck at the airport for 6 hours due to a delay.  Poor them.

😀

We ended up ordering four dishes to share between the two of us.  I felt like I was in foodie heaven. ^_^

The 1/2 Dozen Hellfire Lollipop Wings were the first to arrive, but the rest of the three dishes arrived right afterwards too.  Talk about efficiency!

Even though the dishes look small here, at the time, I was so excited and happy with everything that it really felt like a foodie paradise to me.

Truffle Chips. $5
-potato fries with truffle aioli

I tried the Truffle Chips first (I usually like to eat fries first since they are hot and fresh when they arrive).  I really liked these!  They were just potato fries but the way they were fried and crispy and a little salty made it so tasty!  It was non-stop finger licking good (haha).  When you pair it with the truffle aioli, it burst with flavour even more.  It came with ketchup as well.  Yum!

1/2 Dozen Hellfire Lollipop Wings. $7
-chile beer glaze & blue cheese dip

Next up, I had one of the “Hellfire Lollipop Wings”.  It was glazed with a chile beer and came with a blue cheese dip.  Mmm!  I absolutely love blue cheese.  The lollipop wings were very smooth and tasty.  It was great quality chicken meat too!  Delicious! 😀

Crab Oscar Deviled Eggs. $5
-spiced mayo with tomato, cucumber relish

The Crab Oscar Deviled Eggs was a really cute creation where the deviled eggs were topped with the crab oscar.  It contained spiced mayo with tomato and cucumber relish.  I loved how fresh the crab was.  You could really taste it!  The deviled eggs were also very smooth and creamy. :3

Toad-in-the-Hole. $5
-sausage in pastry with HP sauce and spicy mustard

Lastly, the Toad-in-the-Hole was something I really wanted to try because it was so British.  It is basically sausage in a pastry (I had this for the first time at Yonge on Firkin this year) but I wanted to try at out here.  It came with an HP sauce and spicy mustard.  I really liked the mustard.  It wasn’t too spicy but came with a kick.  The pastry was fluffy and the sausage was good as well.  Mmm!

Basically, pretty much everything we chose was amazingly delicious and I am so glad that we came just in time for their Happy Hour special! 😀 😀

The bill was so cheap!! You have to try this place!

I really appreciated how the manager actually came up to us and asked us how everything was.  He was so friendly and genuine in his greeting that I felt very welcomed and warm.  Simple greetings and genuine care really make a difference in a person’s day!  I loved the restaurant even more because of this. 🙂

If you are in Caesars Palace around the afternoon time and wanting a snack or small meal, I suggest that you try out Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill.  How can you say no to $5 and $7 dishes?!  You’d be crazy to say no to such deliciousness! 😛  Next time, I’d love to try their other food specialties too!

Happy Hour 😀
