This is going to be a super low-key blog post. I haven’t been to Baskin Robbins for ice cream for many years (I remember enjoying a wonderful ice cream cake from them when I was a child). They’re a popular ice cream parlour franchise that has been around for many decades all around Canada and the United States. Almost everyone knows them by name!
We popped by the Cachet Centre location in Markham of Baskin Robbins for ice cream.
I ordered one scoop of the Chocolate Fudge on a regular cone while my mom got the Mango Mania on a waffle cone ( “freshly made” and cost $1.10 extra). We were the only ones in the shop on this sunny afternoon but there were some other customers coming in and out as we enjoyed the ice cream.
I really liked the chocolate fudge and how thick and creamy it was! It was definitely real chocolate and I appreciated the full flavour; something that some ice cream parlours lack these days. (All of their ice cream is Kosher and they have a lot of flavours to choose from.)
I tried the Mango Mania too and I loved how fruity and refreshing it was.
After revisiting Baskin Robbins again to refresh my memory of their ice cream, I wouldn’t hesitate to have more of their ice cream in the future! 🙂 Simple, tasty, flavourful ice cream; just how it should be!
