We had some gelato at this relatively newly opened gelato shop at the Fallsview Resort in Niagara this past weekend! The gelato at Il Gelato di Carlotta proved to be one of the best gelatos I have ever had — it’s like visiting Italy for their gelato but not having to get on a plane. My mom and I got the split cup of two flavours to share: tiramisu and mango. The tiramisu tasted exactly like tiramisu cake and instead of using lady fingers, they used a spongy cake to soak the rum in so there were bits of rum-soaked cake in the actual gelato. It was so good! The gelato was smooth and creamy too. The mango flavour tasted like fresh mangoes but also of a smooth gelato consistency. I was really impressed with how good their gelato was! Our cup of gelato was topped with two waffle crackers too which were so crunchy!

(You can taste test the flavours before you order just like we did. The lady behind the counter was very friendly. She explained to me about their mini cones and ice cream sticks too.
