May 1, 2019: It’s been a while since I last ate at a Hero Certified Burgers fast food restaurant. Their burgers are pretty good. They now have a 100% vegetarian burger and a new haddock burger on the menu.
It was a late night at the office and we were coincidentally both still downtown. We dropped into this location of Hero Burger at Yonge Street and King Street for a late night dinner.
All I wanted was a burger, so I got their classic Signature 4 oz beef burger while Ken got the Egg Burger with a poutine and soft drink as a combo.
The 4 oz burger was good; nothing else really to say.

Signature 4 oz. $6.95
-Angus beef patty, cheddar cheese, relish, red onion, tomato, Hero sauce on a sesame poppy seed bun
Egg Burger 4 oz. $8.15
-Angus beef patty, fried egg, bacon, tomato on a sesame poppy seed bun
The container of the Poutine was stuffed with lots of fries and hot rich brown gravy and melted cheese curds. I thought it was a nice poutine, but Ken thought that the fries were too gravy-soaked and preferred the fries to be more crispy.
