You can say that we’re either very coachable or that we apply what we learned immediately to our lives. In between the lunch break during the health & wellness seminar that we had last weekend, we satisfied our stomachs by eating at Hero Burger at Highway 7 and Commerce Gate. At first, I wanted to go to Bombay Bhel for their cheap lunch combos, but when we arrived, they weren’t open yet curiously.
A lot of the other shops weren’t open yet either at this plaza so we chose Hero Burger instead. Since we had just learned that wild Alaskan salmon is the best salmon to eat (instead of farmed salmon) and we saw it on the menu at this burger joint, that’s what we got. It was actually quite funny. We also learned that most of the waters in the world are already polluted and that the water in Alaska is one of the last places with clean water that fish can grow in and have fewer toxins than most places. That’s why specifically ‘wild’ and ‘Alaskan’ fish is the best. Salmon contains a lot of omega 3, which is necessary to our everyday health. So that’s why we both chose the wild Alaskan salmon fillet at this burger place! 🙂
It was actually very quiet on this Sunday and we were the second customers that day (our order on the receipt said we were #2). The order didn’t take too long for the food to get to us. This location of Hero Burger seemed especially spacious and clean. It was also amazing that they had really fast free wifi. 😀
The Wild Alaskan Salmon Fillet was wrapped up in a nice paper wrapper. It was my first time eating a salmon fillet burger. The piece of salmon fillet was quite substantial for its size too! I was impressed. I chose some simple condiments like tomato, lettuce, pickles, cheese, and mayonnaise. It was pretty good and we both felt we were eating clean. 🙂
After that, back to the health & wellness seminar we went! (The other time I’ve been to Hero Burger — that was blogged — was here. You can read about it. :P)
OMG that burger literally hides your hand! wow! :O
Hehe, yes, I really enjoyed this burger :). Healthy and good portion too! :9
See, now how often can you call a burger healthy 😉
