Achieving UFO for the first time! :D

Yay! My first UFO achieved in the second quarter of 2014

Last night was truly incredible.  We not only infiltrated the headquarters/council chambers of the North York Centre but we recognized some amazing and well-deserving individuals for reaching the UFO program of the second quarter of the year.

.

300 or so of us packed into the Council Chambers

The best part about this business is that it recognizes success in the team no matter if you just started or have been doing it for two years or more.  We are very big on celebrating together as a family and working together towards our goals.  It’s totally unlike what you see in normal working environments where no one will praise or congratulate you on a job well done.

Sereen did an amazing job in her segment!

Last night, after some incredible segments where we learned from our growing and inspirational leaders in the team, the individuals who had fulfilled the UFO requirements for the second quarter were invited up on stage to be recognized.

You wouldn’t believe the number of young people that stood up there.  I was one of them (hehe).  It was my first time achieving UFO status in the business.  I was so excited!!  Another unexpected part was that they asked all the first-time UFO achievers to line up in front and to share our names and one tip for those building the business.  I got to speak in front of these young amazing people once again (my third time now — Miami sharing, Boot Camp sharing, and now UFO first-timer).  I kept it short and simple because that’s really all the business is about.  Anybody can do it as long as you put in the time and effort and don’t give up.

Being recognized for our hard work and achievement 🙂

My turn with the microphone 😀

Congratulations to Max Chen for his incredible achievement and closing off the evening for us. FVP!

Anyway, at the end, we had our usual meeting after meeting in which I got to speak at (my fourth time) — and yes, I do keep track.  I didn’t know what to say the first time, was a little nervous the second time, wanted to say more after I finished at the third time, and even last night, I felt like I could have included more in my spiel.  I feel more comfortable than ever getting into that circle and sharing my thoughts from the night.

I’m super duper excited for the future because I can see where the team is headed now.. even more so now than in Miami after that amazing trip.  Our team is doubling in size and it’s going to be a waterfall effect.  Less than a month to go for our next huge and life-changing event! ^_^

We ended the night with a Korean dinner and a new partner on our team! Welcome Katy!!
(that’s me holding Eric’s UFO pin for picture purposes — my own pin is in the mail on its way to me!)

*Thank you to everyone’s pictures who I stole used for this blog post!
