20 TGTG surprise bags purchased in May 2026

Save money and eat food that’s discounted for one third of the price by using an app called Too Good To Go.  It’s a fun way to try different foods you wouldn’t usually eat and make new recipes with the items that you get.

So happy to finally try their seafood bag!  I got it last month but they mistakenly gave meat items in it instead of seafood.

The garlic and herb shrimps were delicious.  The smoked salmon was good too.  The pate was all right; a little dry for me.

Yummy maki rolls as always!  Nice to try the hamachi and roasted eel as these were new to us.  The spicy squid is very yummy too.

The sukiyaki beef with egg yolk was a new one to try but I feel like there wasn’t enough beef in it.  The salmon ikura is always a good one.

The wrap was yummy.  The ramen salad was a new item for us and it was quite tasty, especially when warmed up.  My eldest child loved eating the boursin cheese.

Look for the door marked “unit 12” when you get there.  It’s one of the back doors.  Press the doorbell and then someone will answer the door.  (I initially had trouble finding the pickup location.)

What a beautiful assortment of Korean products!  Items from snacks to noodles to desserts and drinks!  Really neat to finally try this rare surprise bag out!

The sweet baked buns are so tasty! The kids enjoyed the squid.  I enjoyed the ice cream bars!  I definitely will buy this surprise bag again if the timing works out.

I was very excited to pick these up as I looked up the nutritional facts online and it seemed very promising as a healthy cereal and snack for our family.  However, once we tried it, it smelled so sweet, tasted artificial to me, and tasted sweet too despite it having zero grams of sugar.  A very disappointing product for me.  Fortunately, the kids have been greatly enjoying it, so not a loss after all!

Another pure cheese bag!  This is what specialty foods is about eh…

The fresh fior di latte was so delicious and fresh.  The spreadable goat cheese with cranberry was unique too and I enjoyed it on toast.  Surprisingly, my 5-year-old enjoyed it too.  The gouda was unfortunately moldy.

This was not the dairy bag I expected lol — as in I wasn’t expecting 2 juices and an oat beverage — all drinks!  The oat drink is very watery and the first main ingredient is filtered water.  The two juices are tasty.

Disappointing!  Who packs these bags and do they understand that there is a promised minimum value for each bag?  The shrimp is delicious as we had it before earlier in the month.  The salmon spread was a bit meh for me…

I haven’t gotten Tanuki’s surprise bags since August 2023 (😯), so this was nice to get again.  Yummy udon noodles that are a tad on the saltier side.  There were shrimps in this but they were all buried underneath the noodles.  There were seven shrimps!
