Arbitration

Today I had my first  *look above at the title*.  It was quite short I guess?  It went from 10 to 4 p.m. and since I had mentally prepared and anticipated it going until 5 p.m., I was surprised it didn’t take up the full day.

(This wasn’t my first official arbitration reporting job; I was on another one before but since that was a continuing arbitration, it felt like this one was a single over-and-done-with one.  There was also only one panel member at this one.)

The case today was quite interesting considering the two people in question were actually around the same age as me.  There were lots of names and I’m glad I got most of them from looking at the documents during the break time.

Today I learned that when the Arbitrator orders the transcript, all the parties pay for it. XD  #newb
