Lately, I’ve taken the approach of preferring to work on my transcripts rather than blogging whereas in the past it’s always been blog posts before anything else to the point of staying up late until midnight or beyond to publish a post once per day. As some of you might have noticed — and as I know it myself — I’ve been lacking in the department of daily posts lately. It’s been a while since I’ve shadowed a court reporter on a job. Today, I had the great opportunity to sit in with my friend and the girl who introduced me to stenography and taught me how to steno my first letters, punctuation, and word(s) on the stenograph! It’s a big deal. 😉 Continue reading
In one of the steno groups on facebook that I belong to, one of the members mentioned that a stenograph in Chinese is called a 速录机. I Googled this and this gave me a fantastic array of pictures of Chinese steno machines and stenographers. So cool!
The set up is exactly like how a regular stenograph for English is.
