Taken from various parts of the world. 2008-2016
I love these colour challenges! I remember the last one I did was for the colour orange and I had so much fun picking out photos that were similar in terms of its colour scheme. For this week’s challenge, the focal point is green everything! Here are the photos that I came up with. You can click the photo to enlarge it. (Actually, I should have included my first ever pint of green beer too! Ah well. 😛 ) Continue reading
Chocolate F/X located at 335 Four Mile Creek Rd in St. Davids, Ontario
“If you can’t dip it in chocolate, it’s not worth eating!” That’s the slogan of the Chocolate F/X chocolate shop that we visited when we were in Niagara Falls this past weekend. Chocolate F/X is actually located in the town of St. Davids but it’s only a 15-minute drive from the Falls or a 15-minute from Niagara-on-the-Lake. Continue reading
The Flour Mill Restaurant located at 6080 Fallsview Blvd in Niagara Falls
We were able to enjoy two meals at The Flour Mill Restaurant at the Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel when we stayed there this past weekend. To start off, the Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel is an absolutely magnificent and beautifully rustic hotel that used to be a former flour mill dating back to 1904. This made for a very historic and characteristic restaurant housed inside the boutique hotel where the walls were made with stone. Continue reading
T.G.I. Fridays located at 5940 Victoria Ave. in Niagara Falls
This past Saturday evening, we for an early dinner at T.G.I. Fridays in Niagara Falls. Good Catch Boil House located at 179 Enterprise Blvd, Unit M-109 in Markham
I was really grateful and happy to be able to attend the Media Event of the newly opened Good Catch Boil House located at 179 Enterprise Blvd, Unit M-109 in Markham. They are located at a hip and happening location right now as there are so many great restaurants also at 179 Enterprise Boulevard (it’s where Cineplex Markham is). Continue reading

R66 Revolving Restaurant, Hong Kong. August 2008
A blast from the past! This photo is from June 2008 when we went to R66 Revolving Restaurant, the only 360° revolving restaurant in Hong Kong located in Wan Chai. I felt very grateful that our family friends brought us to this buffet for lunch where we got to enjoy an incredible view of Hong Kong. This picture is almost eight years old and yet the restaurant remains there and retains its former name too! Continue reading

After our brunch at Alchemy Coffee just a couple of minutes away from Langham Square, Priscilla and I went to Millie Café to try out their infamous Mille Crêpe cakes.

Alchemy Coffee located at 4361 Hwy 7 in Markham
Alchemy Coffee is yet another restaurant that I had wanted to visit after seeing it on social media (they opened almost a year ago in May 2016), so this past Sunday, Priscilla and I had the chance to visit it for brunch on a Sunday. Alchemy Coffee is located on Highway 7 close to Kennedy Road. It’s located on a very small strip plaza so you’ll have to watch out for it when driving so as not to miss the entrance. Continue reading
AllStar Wings & Ribs located at 9255 Woodbine Avenue, Unit 11 in Markham
I was craving wings and nachos this past Saturday so we went to the closest wings place — AllStar Wings & Ribs at Woodbine and 16th in Markham. Even though I live super close to the Cachet Centre plaza where this AllStar Wings is, I’ve actually never been here before. Thus, this was my first time at this location of this popular wings franchise restaurant. Continue reading
