Yesterday, as part of the dessert selection for the first barbecue of the season, we had dessert from Love Me Sweet. Love Me Sweet is a growing Japanese-style cheesecake chain that began sometime in the last two years and has now (at the time of posting) three locations in total in Toronto! (Their second location is at Scarborough Town Centre while the third one is at Yonge & Sheppard — I saw it recently when I was there for the Silo 13 #jojoinstameets.)
(I also had the chance to attend the #feedmyphone media tasting for Love Me Sweet back when it opened but unfortunately was unavailable that night to attend.)
Since then, I have actually had a original cheesecake from Love Me Sweet — I had it as a gift after the Moji tasting also from feedmyphone and got to try it for the first time then! I didn’t have a very solid memory of the cheesecake but here is my review on it.
We were at the Love Me Sweet store at World on Yonge around 5:40 p.m. on a long weekend Saturday. They served original, chocolate, and coffee flavours for their cheesecake for a flat $11 each. They also served cheese tarts in original, matcha, and chocolate flavours too.
The cheesecake was super fluffy and smelled so amazing and cheesy after opening the box. However, I thought that the cheese flavour was a bit weak. We ate it after leaving it chilled in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. I think from what I remember from my first time eating it, having it heated up increases the cheesiness.
