Butter Baker, the new pastry bakery featuring French confectionery cooking from the minds of Butter Avenue, is set to have their Grand Opening this Friday, November 24, 2017 at their shop at 120 Dundas Street (near Dundas Square)!
Their intersection is at Dundas Street and Bay Street. The store opens from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. They will be launching the first two holiday items at this time also to celebrate the Grand Opening! The first 50 customers will receive these two holiday items complimentary along with a chance to win $100 Butter Baker app credit on the spot!
Their first two holiday specials are: Gingerbread Man Croissant made with cream cheese crème, gingerbread crumble, toasted marshmallow, and the cutest gingerbread man cookie; and the Gingerbread Man Latte with house-made secret recipe gingerbread syrup with their organic espresso, steamed milk, fresh whipped cream, topped with salted caramel sauce, and the cutest gingerbread man cookie!
Gingerbread man all the way! 😀
Calvin was sweet enough to allow me a chance to try their newest holiday creations by delivering me a box of their Gingerbread Man Croissants. I remembered the fond savory croissant creations from last time and was looking forward to another delicious and crafty pastry.
When I opened the delicate pastry box, I gasped aloud because I was not expecting the most adorable and cutest faces staring back at me. Just look at those gingerbread man faces!! I was super excited to try these! Their little smiles on their little gingerbread man faces were super, super CUTE! ^_^
After a photoshoot with them, I was ready to dig in. As stated above, this Gingerbread Man Croissant masterpiece consisted of a croissant with cream cheese crème inside, gingerbread crumble, toasted marshmallow on top of it, and the cutest gingerbread man cookie waving to me from the edge of the croissant. It was the most adorable holiday pastry I’ve ever had! What a genius move on Butter Baker’s part. ^_^
The croissant was so flaky, crispy, and delectable! So good! I loved how good it smelled too. That gingerbread smell was delicious! What I loved also was the cream cheese crème that was inside the croissant. It was so creamy and tasty! It didn’t feel too heavy at all either. The toasted marshmallows on top of it gave the slightest sweetness to enhance this pastry even more.
I loved it. After I was done, I ate the gingerbread man limb by limb. I loved it. ^_^
Go check out Butter Baker this Friday and support them on their grand opening! I am sure you will love their creations just as much as I do. 😀

I even took a series of photos as I ate him limb by limb. I think he enjoyed the photo evidence. 😉
