Spinbuddies Pole Studio in Vaughan! ❤

Class #1:  November 11 — I’ve been looking forward to this class for a while now!  I bought the Groupon deal back in September and had been yearning to use it.  I finally took the first class today and I loved it!  The instructor, Tara, was so friendly and nice even within the first couple minutes of chatting with her.   Continue reading

This Year’s Annual KAM Dinner at Ferrovia Ristorante

Ferrovia Ristorante at 7355 Bayview Ave in Thornhill

Two of my closest high school friends and I have a yearly tradition.  Every December, we get together no matter how busy our schedules are and choose a night to go out and dine and catch up over what has happened over the year.  Although technology can potentially bring people closer by giving us the options to text, talk on the phone, or through the various social media platforms that we have today, nothing is better than catching up with friends and hearing the stories directly and seeing the expressions and emotions that come with it.   Continue reading

Vietnamese Food at Pho Hoang Kim [Defunct]

Located at 330 Hwy 7 East in Richmond Hill

I really wasn’t a fan of this restaurant, but I’ll blog about it anyway.  Pho Hoang Kim is one of the many restaurants that’s situated in the Highway 7 & Chalmers Road plaza that also houses the popular Sapporo Sushi, delicious Ho Shin Tang, and Saigon Star, among other restaurants.   Continue reading

Delicious Corned Beef Sandwich at the Corned Beef House [Defunct]

Corned Beef Sandwich

Corned Beef House located at 270 Adelaide St West in the Entertainment District

Wow, I was so surprised with how much I loved this place!  My friend Holly and I stopped into the Corned Beef House on a whim for a late lunch on a very cold and wintry day.  We had both placed this restaurant on our restaurant-to-go-to list so it was perfect when we happened to pass by it.

Banquet Food at the Pearson Convention Centre

Pearson Convention Centre

Pearson Convention Centre located at 2638 Steeles Ave E in Brampton

Banquet food!  I haven’t had this in a while.  The last time was probably at either a wedding or at the last formal in the last year of university.  What can I say about banquet food is that it is usually your standard salad, bread, pasta, dry meat and vegetables, and finishing off with a semi-redeeming dessert.   Continue reading

Squid Ink Ramen at Jyuban Ramen House [Defunct]

Squid Ink Ramen

Over the weekend, I visited Jyuban Ramen House with my mom.  We had heard that they serve not just regular Japanese ramen but also the rarely-heard-of squid ink ramen.  It was definitely a place worth checking out no matter how weird the concoction sounds.   Continue reading
