Konjiki Ramen located at 5051 Yonge St in North York
January 21, 2018: After the opening weekend “giveaway” at Meet Fresh, we headed straight down the street to Konjiki Ramen (located across from the North York Civic Centre) to see what all the hype was about. Konjiki Ramen comes from Japan and is Michelin-recommended for their best-tasting ramen and unique clam-based soup base.

It’s a painting class paired with drinks where we learn from an instructor who briefly teaches us how to complete a specific painting — that we chose from a set. Quality Hotel Midtown located at 6445 Decarie Blvd in Montreal
We stayed here from August 4 to 7, 2017. We have stayed in a previous Quality Hotels before and I found them to be very reliable in terms of cleanliness, affordability, safety, has free wi-fi, and comfort. We got to Quality Hotel Midtown in Montreal by 5 p.m. and checked in. The check-in process was easy. I was impressed with how big the lobby and foyer were! August 7, 2017: Our last day in Montreal was spent leaving and getting back to Ontario. We woke up and first enjoyed the continental breakfast at the hotel though which was pretty good.

Yay finally got to try Au Pied De Cochon!!
August 6, 2017: On this third day of touring around Montreal, we hit up brunch at a famous spot, hiked up Mount Royal, and visited a restaurant that I’ve been dying to eat at! 😀
We woke up early today by 8:30 a.m. and grabbed some food from the breakfast area in the hotel. Our plan was to hit up Restaurant L’Avenue (922 Mont-Royal Ave E, Montreal) because it was a restaurant that was famous for their brunch and you had to get there early to avoid the hour-long line-ups. The friend who recommended me to try it said the line-up for her when she went was nearly two hours long! Continue reading
